One of my biggest success stories was a community relations effort to gain City Council and public support of a controversial development of homes and commercial properties. The project spanned 18 months and resulted with a victory at the ballot box, with a 10% margin of victory over the opposition. The project involved a number of tactics including web development, direct mail, advertising, public relations, community engagement and lobbying.
