Preventsys was an innovative IT GRC product that aggregated security data from other security products to help companies understand how well they were implementing technical controls associated with major regulatory policies such as HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley, and PCI. Acquired by McAfee in 2006, Preventsys became the primary building blocks for McAfee Risk Advisor.
